The fourth international scientific and practical conference "Ocean in the City" was held at the Center for Oceanography and Marine Biology "Moskvarium" from February 10 to 11, 2024. The conference was organized and held with the support of the working group of the Euro-Asian Regional Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EARAZA) and the Union of Zoos and Aquariums of Russia (SOZAR).

The fourth international scientific and practical conference "Ocean in the City" was held at the Center for Oceanography and Marine Biology "Moskvarium" from February 10 to 11, 2024. The conference was organized and held with the support of the working group of the Euro-Asian Regional Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EARAZA) and the Union of Zoos and Aquariums of Russia (SOZAR).
The conference was opened by Irina Vyacheslavovna Suvorova, Senior Veterinarian of the Center of Oceanography and Marine Biology "Moskvarium"
Most of the 36 reports were devoted to the issues of keeping marine mammals in artificial conditions, maintaining their health, training and interaction with humans. The topics of marine and freshwater aquaristics, educational activities in oceanariums, master classes, excursions to the exposition and technical zone of the oceanarium were also touched upon.

We remind that our XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Aquarium as a Means of Cognition of the World" for the first time in 19 years was held in Kogalym on the territory of the Aquatica Oceanarium and Cosmos Hotel on April 21-23, 2023. We hope that meetings of professionals on the basis of "Aquatica" will continue.

We would like to thank the Moskvarium Center for Oceanography and Marine Biology for the opportunity to participate in the regular scientific and practical conference "Ocean in the City", which was unexpectedly held in close proximity to marine mammals.
