By order of the North-West Fishing Consortium (NWFC) in April 2023, our company started the design and construction of seawater treatment and recycling water supply systems for crab holding basins in Murmansk and Veliky Novgorod at the same time. All works in full coordination with related parties were completed in 6 months.
The facility in Murmansk is located in a building with an area of more than 1000 sq.m. and is designed for simultaneous holding of up to 70 tons of live crabs in 400 cubic meter tanks. In Velikiy Novgorod the holding system occupies 300 sq.m. and is designed for simultaneous holding of up to 15 tons of live crab in tanks with total volume of 200 cubic meters. Maintenance of seawater temperature within +1 to +5 degrees C is provided by industrial chillers.
In addition, Aqua Logo Engineering specialists installed piping systems for water circulation and air supply on two crab vessels.
It should be noted that we designed and launched the first commercial crab holding facility in Moscow in 2005.

Live crab harvest is provided by the NWFC fleet
The NWFC fleet is one of the largest fishing fleets in the North Basin. More than 20 production vessels regularly go to sea
We have installed piped water circulation and air supply systems on two NWFC fishing vessels

Soon these crabs will be shipped to consumers in different cities and countries
"Currently, NWFC controls the production processes at all stages, from catching and processing to sending to wholesale buyers. Therefore we can guarantee the quality of 17 thousand tons of crab production and 45 thousand tons of fish production that our customers purchase annually" (Source:
