Happy World Architect's Day, colleagues!

Architect is a well-known ancient profession. But our architects are special - they are zoo-architects! What is it, where is it taught and how does the working process take place? Today, October 2, 2023, on the Architect's Day, we will finally tell you who and how they think up and create all these unique projects of Aqua Logo Engineering.

Zoo-architects design environments not only for people, but also for animals. This is not a separate profession, it is not taught specifically in Russian architectural universities. There are faculties of industrial architecture, civil architecture, landscape architecture, etc., but there is no "zoo-architecture". Nor are there any special advanced training courses on this specificity. But there are zoo-architects.

It's simple - our specialists work in a coordinated team with zoologists and technologists. Our staff includes theoretical zoologists (researchers) and practical zoologists (with experience of working directly in zoos). In addition, Aqua Logo Engineering regularly sends architects to zoos around the world to inspire and analyze successful and less successful solutions that are identified during operation.

Aqua Logo Engineering is a member of EARAZA and SOZAR organizations, so zoo staff share their invaluable experience with us so that we can learn from other people's mistakes and create more and more comfortable environment for animals, visitors and zoo staff. 

In turn, we share our experience with other zoos. We take an active part in conferences, including as speakers.
