Best realized project in the field of construction 2022

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin awarded the winners of the contest "The best realized project in the field of construction - 2022", the mos.ru portal reported. The awarding was timed to coincide with the Builder's Day (August 13 in 2023) and took place in the Zaryadye Concert Hall.

124 applications in 12 nominations were submitted for participation in the contest. The main condition is that the facility must be commissioned between January 1 and December 31, 2022. The winners were 23 projects.

The competitive presentation of the project "Pinnipeds Pavilion in the Moscow Zoo" states in particular: "The pavilion is characterized by a unique water treatment system, including sand filtration and flotation circuits, ozonation, ultraviolet treatment, denitrification and Ph level control (acidity of water solutions)". It should be noted that the water treatment system for the Pinnipeds pavilion of the Moscow Zoo was designed, built, and since 2023 has been maintained by our company.

We installed not only huge technological tanks of the life support system of the complex, kilometers of pipelines up to 30 cm in diameter, but also 19 acrylic underwater observation windows. The largest of them have dimensions of 6x3 meters.

The presentation emphasized this important technical feature of the pavilion: "The building has three levels of observation of pinnipeds: the upper viewing area, where it is convenient to watch animal trainings, below, on the street side, there are 10 viewing windows - portholes, through which you can observe the life of inhabitants in the water, and in the internal exposition gallery through 9 panoramic windows below the water level, visitors can see all the splendor of animals and make a unique photo with them".
