Public aquarium in Ocean Plaza Shopping Moll, Kiev

Aqua Logo Engineering and AQUA LOGO Ukraine specialists have built a Public Aquarium for the Ocean Plaza shopping and entertainment center in Kiev which opened on December 7, 2012. Along with technical rooms and life support system the size of the aquarium is equivalent to a three-storied house. It even has its own foundation. The aquarium has the biggest volume of sea water in Eastern Europe (350 cubic meters) and the size of the main observation window (12x3 meters). And that is not all the "highlights" of the aquarium. Its main window can be seen from three floors of Ocean Plaza shopping center (photo 1, 2, 3).

Thousands of fish of fifteen species have made their new home after traveling by air from different seas and oceans. The greatest interest of the public, and especially children, is in the sharks. Many take pictures, make videos, or just stare at the toothy predators swimming by at arm's length. Visitors to the marine restaurant adjacent to the aquarium (photo 4) can enjoy a double treat.

They can not only enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine, but sitting on couches near four huge aquarium windows feel like part of the underwater world, almost like divers among coral reefs and tropical fish. Including sharks of several species.
